The British Design Fund, the investment fund for UK product design and manufacturing start-ups, has partnered with the New Designers Show which showcases 3,000 of the brightest and most radical emerging designers and creative minds in the UK. The British Design Fund wil be be running free advice clinics offering one-to-one sessions to this next generation of product designers exclusively at this week’s show.
Attendees and exhibitors at the New Designers Show will be given access to the knowledge and expertise of serial entrepreneur Damon Bonser and ex-CEO of the Design Council John Mathers, the co-founders of British Design Fund. Through the 1:1 Investor Clinics, Bonser and Mathers will offer advice on a range of topics, including how to set up, preparing for investment, and the trials and tribulations of going to market with a new product.
Young product designers eager to gain an inside view of the industry can secure a 30-minute time slot with the duo by emailing enquiries@britishdesignfund.co.uk with their name, company, and contact details.
Sessions will take place on Thursday 28th and Friday 29th June on stand A11 at the New Designers Show, which is being hosted at the Business Design Centre, 52 Upper Street, London.
