Creative Growth Finance, the specialist lender for the creative industries, is partnering with the British Design Fund on their recently launched Fund 3, expanding an investment approach that champions and supports the UK’s creative businesses.
The British Design Fund provides investment and mentoring to early-stage product design and manufacturing businesses based in the UK. Established by creative industry experts Creative England, Creative Growth Finance provides vital scale-up finance to the UK’s most promising creative businesses.
Through the partnership, Creative Growth Finance will collaborate with the British Design Fund to identify innovative UK design businesses to invest in, providing access to financing to accelerate their growth.
The UK has the second largest design sector in the world, and the largest in Europe, producing some of the world’s leading inventors and product innovators. However, despite this heritage, there is a significant funding gap for early-stage businesses within this sector. Through this partnership, the British Design Fund and Creative Growth Finance intend to address this need.
